The Opportunity

You’ll be a vital part of our Investor Services Sales team in Copenhagen from day one. You’ll work with a huge variety of Danish and Finnish prospects and clients, including pension funds, life insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds and banks, advising them on and delivering innovative, market leading financial solutions. The analyst is expected to be able to work independent as well as corporate with the sales team and subject matter experts in the Nordics, UK and Luxembourg. The tasks will include market analysis, meeting preparation join meetings and other adhoc tasks. You should expect that there will requirement for travel in the Nordics, UK and Luxembourg.

General Market Analysis

To perform and uphold an ongoing analysis of the Danish and Finnish markets (within following segments; Asset Managers, Banks, Pension, Insurance, Hedge and Alternatives). The analysis should present historical performance, use of instruments and products, partners and service delivery companies. It should outline the organizations and highlight any changes in strategic focus. The analyst is responsible for an overview of the public tender situation for the organizations that make use of hem. This analysis needs to be recurrent during the year to achieve the overall goal that we better follow up our markets, clients and prospects. The analysis should look at (non exclusive):

General interest in the market and any market movements (macro economy)

Keep updated on news (financial and business related)

Keep updated on regulatory changes (mutual fund association, FSA, etc)

Overview of seminars and events that would be relevant

Any published public tender

Meeting Preparation

The analyst will assist in preparing meetings, with existing clients and prospects. The goal is before any meetings that we should have quick overview regarding any new updates, result and any presented changes, this needs to be available on a short notice and to be tracked overtime:

Structured in doc/data/info storage in our folders etc

Coordination with our presentations teams

Meetings

The analyst will take part in preparing any material to be present during meetings, and when participating we look for the analyst to write out the action points and make sure that our tracking systems are correctly listing the meetings and events. Also important that all the Action Points are tracked and are met in a timely fashion:

Attention to detail / quality control on visuals as well as content (together with RM)

Safeguarding deadlines

Question the material if needed – making sure we understand why certain information goes into the decks etc.

RFP’s/RFI’s

The analyst will take part in putting together RFP/RFI responses and other commercials proposals we send to external counterparties. Overall objective is to add local knowledge and data to the overall documentation and presentation presented by the RFP team:

Work closely with RFP/tender teams (different locations)

Coordination and follow up of RFP meetings

Host calls/ follow up with colleagues to get responses and updates in time

Account Plans

Work with the sales team to safeguard that we have account plans for all clients, that all information and data in the plans are correct and that we have all relevant opportunities listed in the plan and that these are tracked.

Client information/KYC

The analyst role needs to safeguard that our information about the client is correctly set-up in our file structures and in our supporting systems, such as the CKC system. The role shall also assist in any KYC items being requested of the sales team.

Regulatory Changes

Follow the regulatory environment for us and our clients in order to look for new opportunities to proactively address with our clients and prospects.

Analyse impact of market changes

Track Revenue

Analyze revenues and expenses, we are also interested to track the allocation of the banks balance sheet for the clients. To track and understand the systems in used to report financial numbers – keep close dialogue with finance and control teams, and product partners. Requirements

Experience with the financial sector is preferable

Relevant experience, such as an internship or placement, would be highly beneficial

University degree or equivalent

Ability to understand complex topics and products and explain them to other parties

Ability to think on a strategic level and identify future opportunities for business growth

Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills

Proactivity, Self-starter, interpersonal skills and exceptional drive

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects

Experienced user of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Fluency in English is essential, written and verbal.

Fluency in Danish is preferred
