The Creative Producer will play a key role in the ideation, development, and execution of best-in-class content for brand partners, distributed across TED’s digital and social eco-system.
Working collaboratively across revenue-driving Partnerships team, the Creative Producer will ideate on brand storytelling through the TED lens, define and synthesize project requirements and assist in product roadmap and design resource planning.
Along with keen multi-tasking skills, the ideal candidate must maintain a critical eye for creative direction and details while managing perspective on the broader scope of a project’s scope and direction. The position requires keeping up-to-date on emerging platforms and technologies, as well as design and interaction trends and best practices.
Ideate, present and produce brand partner content solutions and deliverables from concept to launch, inclusive of:
Short- and long-form brand partner films (live action, animated, stop motion)
Social-first content (animation, photography, illustration, infographics)
Communicate clearly and efficiently with brand partners as well as production companies
Manage a project from start to finish with clarity, creativity, and knowledge
Oversee brand guidelines and maintain design quality for all initiatives
Manage design project schedules and deliverables
Work effectively with development, creative services, product, social and tech leads
5-7 years of experience in production, project management and/or design pre- and post-sale teams
An exceptional portfolio of work showcasing capabilities across multiple platforms including video, mobile, social and web application solutions
Production experience, vendor relationships and/or a deep understanding of production calendars, deliverables and how a film is made is a must
A collaborative, communicative and entrepreneurial spirit
Highly developed communication skills to facilitate feedback, needs, and schedules required, exhibiting a consistent standard of patience and appreciation for the creative process
Solid background in grid layouts and responsive design is preferred but not required
Fluency in YouTube backend and video analytics is preferred but not required
Experience with some production tracking software and asset management software is preferred but not required
This is a contract position based in TED’s New York office.
