Responsibility/Duty:
Customer interaction / business partnership:
Collaborates with commercials and other functions within the location and in other geographies to ensure smooth execution from loading point to final destination

Monitors issue resolution on internal and external contracts

Coordinate the loading and unloading process of the different means of transportation with relevant logistics/transportation team

Oversees the communication with discharge port agents and customs brokers regarding import/export activities and policies.

Process improvement / compliance

:

Responsible to ensure that all import and export execution are in line with country customs and government regulations

Communicates with service providers regarding operating objectives and ensure they are in compliance with food and feed safety, customer requirements and government regulations

Accountable and Responsible to set execution costs target and monitor them on monthly basis to identify optimization opportunities and process improvement.

Accountable for the execution process honoring as defined by the process owners/function)

Contributes in collaboration with BU Process Lead to the development of the overall execution process and tools.

Data management / documentation

:

Reviews contracts prior to execution and ensures contract terms are executable and conform to legal requirements.

Advises commercial teams on contract terms and associated costs

Supervises the accurate and timely completion of all transactional trade execution entries within the data management system.

Supervises the vessel/carrier nomination process to ensure all contract terms are met and risk exposure is minimized

Makes recommendations/advices to commercial team on possible contract terms (incl. changes)

Controls issuance of shipping documents to ensure they are in line with contractual requirements

Strategy development / shipment execution

:

Responsible for overseeing the execution of all contracts and coordination of the movement.

Participates in development and implementation of long term execution strategies in line with overall business strategy

Nominates service providers such as supervision and fumigation to perform services as required by contracts and business.

Performance management / research & analysis

:

Ensures all the execution related tools/systems are kept updated timely and accurately

Defines reporting needs and oversees all execution reports development

Develops, manages and analyze KPI’s on Execution Performance.

People, talent & budget management

:

Accountable for the recruitment, development, engagement, compensation and performance of team members.

Provides and arranges coaching, training to the team in order to develop competencies and ensure adherence to company core values

Accountable for team budget. Establish team budget on yearly basis and monthly monitoring and reporting. (SG&A, T&E)

Qualifications

Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent.

+ 5/8 years experienced in similar position

Experience

Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in Supply Chain or related role

Experience in agricultural or commodity supply chain

Experience in commodity contract execution and international contract rules

Proven track record in delivering improvements in contract execution process (e.g. cost savings, service improvement, additional revenue creation)

Experience with working in a multinational-cultural environment

Preferably experience with working in a large (matrix) organization

Skills

(applied knowledge and technical skills directly related to this position)

Fluent in min. 2 European languages (English + language of region)

Knowledge of agricultural related supply chains, integrated supply chain process

International contract knowledge (Gafta, Fosfa, etc.)

Basic knowledge of process, production including quality requirements

Basic knowledge of different transport modalities and restrictions
