What will I be doing?

Hilton Stockholm Slussen is looking for a Group, Conference & Events Sales Coordinator to join our team. The GC&E Sales Coordinator will interact frequently with guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a GC&E Sales Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:


Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue


Constantly work to increase sales and conversions and proactively identify new opportunities


Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach


Handle turndowns professionally, looking for opportunities to move business to different dates or refer to another Hilton property


Knowledge of different group segments (CMTG/SMRF/CONV/GT)


Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs


Strive to exceed guest expectations


Arrange and carry out hotel show rounds


Ensure the complete administration and planning of events


Participate in hotel promotional activities


Handle all enquiries and customer requests promptly, in a friendly and professional manner in line with company standards and customer requirements


Make follow-up calls where a prospect is identified from the incoming call and chase tentative business for conversion to definite


Identifying where colleagues / management can add value to process and involving them as appropriate


Maintain a high level of product knowledge about the hotel and local area


Participate selling activities such as Bring back old business, Sales conversion
weeks, etc



Contact external providers, get quotation for external services required (ex. AV, flowers, transfer)


Control of carrying out exit interviews (Take 5) and duly track into Delphi and pro-actively seek feedback from customers on a regular basis


Control of invoices for completeness on the day following the event and payment of the invoices on time


Manage and calculate commission invoices for event agencies


Drawing up event orders and clearly communicating these to the operational teams to ensure a high quality of internal communication

A Qualification, degree or certification in a relevant field


Speak/write/read English fluently (please note that Swedish is not a necessity for this role)


Previous experience in ONQ R&I beneficial
