Summary: Provision of support for the internal Desktop/Server software and hardware infrastructure, including first level networking support and telephone system To assist in the diagnosis and resolution of problems experienced by Users, including external Clients as appropriate Complete infrastructure maintenance in line with business and Corporate requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Undertake assigned system and network administration activities as required Take responsibility for the security, communications and Active Directory administration Primary focal point for European Network issues, driving network resolution through Fiserv Global Information Services Support Structure Implement and deliver agreed solutions on time and to budget, escalating any delivery related issues appropriately Provide solution design services to the business for all areas of the Desktop, Server and communications systems Provide internal telephone support, including mobile communications Ensure all required maintenance for Intel Infrastructure and communications systems is maintained to provide a secure and up to date solution for the business in line with both local and global requirements Ensure Business Recovery actions are documented and understood.
Participate in disaster recovery activities as required Ensure technical infrastructure adheres to required standards and policies as required, both locally and globally Complete technical tasks required to ensure technical infrastructure meets required information security standards Provide 7×24 cover on a rotated callout basis (UK only) Proactively provide updates and suggestions for potential improvements to the hardware and software infrastructure Perform hardware/software installations and upgrade existing hardware/software in accordance with internal standards Communicate effectively with the global information systems department to ensure adherence to local and global requirements Identify potential problems/issues and communicate these as proposals of resolution to management and the business as required Maintain a client and service focused attitude at all times and enhance the image of the department and the departments role within the business Participate in internal projects as required to implement new/improved system infrastructure facilities Assist in the maintenance and improvement of internal procedural documentation relevant to the department and ensure it is kept up-to-date at all times Provide timely resolution for all issues raised and tasks allocated, keeping management and users proactively updated on the progress of these items Ensure change control procedures are followed for all aspects of the infrastructure Maintain performance, capacity and availability of all INTEL server systems Ensure Fiserv policy standards are maintained and look for opportunities for improvement Participate in project work as required including Sales bids and internal Fiserv led initiatives Participate in normal helpdesk support tasks Any other duties and responsibilities as directed to do so by the Information Systems Manager Ensure physical access controls in place on Fiserv Polska premises; Review CCTV records; Review security logs – external and internal; Work together with building’s security team; maintaining building access as required Manage access (physical and logical) permissions Support audits in Poland, preparing and working with the auditors as requested to do so Additional Job Information: Part of on call out of hours rota (as required by location) Reporting Relationships: Supervisory and Leadership Responsibilities : Reports to Information Systems Manager Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
