SUMMARY

The Manager of Game Entertainment and Special Events is responsible for the planning and execution of all assigned gameday and event productions. With emphasis on preparation, creativity and attention to detail, this position will play a critical role in using entertainment and innovation to maximize moments that connect fans to the Seahawks brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead producer for live pregame, halftime and in-game presentations. This includes, but is not limited to: National Anthem and Halftime performances, pregame bands, DJ’s, and Flag Runners.

Manage and train a Game Entertainment team of eight part-time staff to host talent, stage manage and execute scripted gameday elements.

Oversee the management and budget of the Blue Thunder drumline, a live performance group of approximately 30 members who are led by a Director.

Work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, Digital and Community Engagement groups to activate partners on gameday and at special events throughout the year, in ways that help deliver value against each partners’ goals and help them connect with fans in a meaningful way.

Primary point-person for the Seahawks Draft Party, 12k Run and other assigned special events.

Project management oversight on department’s storage inventory, credentials, parking, gear, apparel as well as food and beverage needs for talent and crew.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Gamedaypart-time staff, Blue Thunder Drumline Director, flag runners, hawk handler, on-field talent and department intern.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Minimum two years previous experience leading a large-scale production (audience of 100+) and/or event planning.

Minimum two years previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Valid Drivers’ License
