To plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.


  • Orchestrating approved new developments and approved prototypes,managing them if necessary
  • Ensuring implementation through monitoring approved new developments
  • Setting up communication sessions with all stake holders (internal and external) and communicating strategies, plans and progress
  • Planning and co-ordinating all project activities for all phases of the project
  • Ensuring that the project work being done is in line with the project planned that the project meets its delivery dates and budget
  • Responsible for managing sub-contractor’s work and/ or vendors as part of project deliveries
  • Adhering and conforming to the Project Management process adopted in MMI Health
  • Effectively manage the scope of projects in terms of the impact to plans and budgets by negotiating and agreeing with all stakeholders and sponsors
  • Ensuring that projects have adequate Risk Management Strategies and plans in place
  • Effectively manage the profitability of own projects; Revenue vs. Costs
  • Measuring benefit realisation in terms of the business requirements
  • Formulating practical plan regarding new products and businesses
  • Identifying, managing, resolving and escalating issues and risks
  • Identifying dependencies and actively manage
  • Managing the production of the required products
  • Agree any delegation and use of Project Assurance roles
  • Producing the Project Initiation Document
  • Prepare Project, Stage and, if necessary, Exception Plans in conjunction with Team Managers and appointed Project Assurance roles
  • Liaising with programme management if the project is part of a programme
  • Liaising with programme management or related projects to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated
  • Taking responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary
  • Being responsible for change control and any required configuration management
  • Agree technical and quality strategy with appropriate members of the Project Team
  • Prepare the Lessons Learned Report
  • Prepare any Follow-on Action Recommendations required
  • Prepare the End Project Report
  • Identify and obtain any support and advice required for the management,planning and control of the project

  • 3 year Degree preferably in Project Management is essential
  • Project Management qualification or experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of project management and practices
  • A good/sound understanding of operations
  • Proven ability to deliver on negotiated contracts
  • Ability to conduct feasibility studies
  • High computer literacy.
