JOB OBJECTIVE:

•Provide an efficient and pro-active service, achieving budgeted Sales revenue and customer satisfaction

•Fully utilize the information systems in place producing a detailed database of all sales enquiries

•Ensure all sales opportunities and future leads are followed through to fulfill budgeted goals

•Actively promote and sell the facilities through client show rounds and familiarization events

•Utilize guest feedback developing services and procedures that enhance guest satisfaction

•To work closely with the Regional sales team to communicate key messages and strategic offers to target accounts

•Responsible for local market sales planning and organization

•Research for new leads and keeping the Director of Sales & Marketing / Asst. Director of Sales & Marketing aware of trends in the market/competition.

•Maintain accurate customer records, timely sales reporting and up-keep of the

sales database

•Public relations function whenever required by the Director of Sales & Marketing/ Asst. Director of Sales & Marketing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Plan and execute sales calls as scheduled in the Marketing Plan together with the appropriate follow-up

•Provides the Director of Sales & Marketing/ Asst. Director of Sales &

Marketing with all information regarding his/her market during compilation of the Marketing Plan

•Participates actively in the compilation of the Sales & Marketing Business Plan

•Attend VIP functions when required by the Director of Sales & Marketing/ Asst. Director of Sales & Marketing

•Maintain good follow-up / trace system

•Conducting site inspections / tours of the property

•Entertaining on a regular basis

•Completing all sales administration forms (reports etc.) on time and

keeping accurate and up to date records of all clients

•To be available to work longer than normal hours as and when required by Director of Sales & Marketing/ Asst. Director of Sales & Marketing

•Perform weekly Sales Duty Rounds

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

•Knowledge of local Corporate segment

•Excellent presentation and strong relationship building skills

•Well organized with good communication skills

•Self-motivated with strong account management skills

•Minimum 1-2 years previous experience at a similar level within hotel

•Natural proactive attitude and excellent motivational skills

•Demonstrate your success in setting and achieving budgeted targets

•Team spirit, assertive and self confident personality
